Hello everyone. So this video is intended to show you how to use jam board for the interactive activity for network analysis. As you can see, I've already started to populate some of the department organizations that we that we often associate with or work with through IDAH. So I'm gonna show you how to add your home department, and then so that you can also add yourself to our more analog base network. So the first thing we'll start off with is we'll go to this left menu on the left hand side, we'll go down to this option that looks like a circle and we're going to hit it. And this is how we're going to draw our circle. You'll want to make sure that you don't make it too big, because especially depending upon much activity we get within individual work coming in here, it might get a little crowded. So you'll first do that and then you're going to go back to the left hand menu and go down to the option below the circle for the textbox. And then you're just going to click close to it. And then you're going to type in your home department, if it isn't already populated in the network. You can then press on the sides to sort of position it. You might have to make your circle a little bigger, so you just click on it and then you can stretch it out. So I have to do that for geography because it's a little bigger. If you need to mess with the font size, the font sizes are over here on the top towards the left corner. Right now I have it under caption so that way it gets smaller text. And then I'm going to add myself in, so I'll go back to the left menu and hit "text box." Just going to add myself here. I'm going to type in my name. Okay? And then what you'll want to do after that is you'll want to draw lines to the circles that you're connected with. Okay? So unfortunately this doesn't have a line option. So what you'll have to do is go back to the left corner. That first option is a pen. If you click on it, then you can sort of draw a line. So I'm going to connect myself to IDAH because I work for IDAH, so I'm connected to them. And I'm also gonna connect myself to Spanish and Portuguese because I'm a student there. So you can sort of draw lines to the different departments or organizations that you're affiliated with, Or, say, research centers and such. So just go ahead and do that, and then we can sort of start to see how IDAH's network sort of expands throughout campus. And maybe we'll find out some information about some people in our departments that we didn't know were involved with IDAH, or also watched the pedagogy workshop. And now we can maybe sort of start to connect, make connections with them about any previous work that they've done with us or, you know, lead to potential collaborations. So that's the intention. And the way that this network could sort of look using our program Net.Create, here's an example of it. We made this network for our three-year review. And so we sort of added in all of our affiliates, graduate students that work with us and the different organizations that we also work with. So for example, Dr. Kalani Craig is connected to Net.Create because she's one of the creators of it. And then she's also of course connected to IDAH because she's one of the co-directors. And she's connected to different individuals through different organizations. So yeah, so this is sort of what it would look like if we were to import the information from the Jamboard into Net.Create. And this is sort of what we can sort of visualize. But what we'll do here is we'll be able to at least in an analog mode visualize how we're all interconnected. So good luck, let us know if you have any questions and please feel free to consult with us.
