Open Access Monograph Digital Publishing: Info-share & Consultation

Tuesday, October 31, 2017

2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Hazelbaker Lecture Hall, SC E159 (Scholars' Commons, 1st floor, East tower)
Herman B Wells Library
1320 E 10th Street
Bloomington, Indiana 47405

Join members of the Institute for Digital Arts & Humanities, Indiana University Press, and Indiana University Libraries' Scholarly Communication department for an informational session and drop-in consultations about the newly offered Open Access Monograph Digital Publishing program, available to Indiana University tenured and tenure-eligible faculty, research scientists, research scholars, research center directors, and librarians with an accepted book contract at a participating press. The program supports the publication of open-access monographs in the humanities and humanistic social sciences with a $15,000 subvention.

We are here to answer questions you may have about open access publishing in general, alternative forms of long-format publication, impact of openly available research, and any other questions you may have about the subvention program itself. Applications to the program are due November 13, 2017 and March 13, 2018. For more information about the application process, consult: http://ovpr.indiana.edu/funding/funding-for-arts-and-humanities/oampi/.

This program is offered in collaboration with the IU Bloomington Office of the Provost and the IU Libraries.
