Pixels & Paintstrokes Participatory Art Project

Saturday, June 30, 2018

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Wells Library, Scholars' Commons Exhibit Space
1320 East 10th Street
Bloomington, Indiana 47405

IDAH programming is on hiatus over the summer while the team is hard at work planning 2018-19 events. In the meantime, we'd like to encourage you to visit the participatory art project in the Wells Library Scholars' Commons.

"Pixels & Paintstrokes" is an exhibit of works that all have the same subject--the major difference between them is the medium in which they are created. Through a survey available at the exhibit, viewers are asked to share their views on different aspects of the works, which were painted using a combination of traditional and digital techniques (such as an oil painting or a digital image on a screen), in order to determine to what degree medium influences artistic value.

If you'd like to participate in this project, visit the Scholars' Commons anytime between now and June 30, 2018.

IDAH is proud to have supported the creation of this exhibition.
