Funding + Project Support

LET US HELP WITH YOUR DIGITAL METHODS, PEDAGOGY, AND PROJECT PLANNING.

IDAH is your partner in digital arts and humanities methods for your project, whether that's a strategic partnership in grant-making (from planning and budgeting to alliances on internal and external grant applications) or work in your classroom on evidence-based digital-methods pedagogy. In addition to digital-methods and pedagogy consulting, IDAH provides two funded programs for digital-project development.

Want to plan a multi-session digital-pedagogy activity? Need long-range planning for a digital project? Our digital-methods consulting is in partnership with the IU Libraries' Digital Collections Services and has a special focus on digital project development and funding. Our digital-pedagogy consulting provides support for with faculty at IUB on anything from single-session digital activities to digital assignment support to full-length formal educational research projects on digital methods.

All consultations for Fall 2021 will be hosted via Zoom. Once you schedule an appointment through LibCal, an Outlook invitation with an individual Zoom link will be sent to you within 2 business days. If existing consultation hours aren't good for your schedule, send us an email at idah@indiana.edu and we'll do our best to find an appointment time that will work for you.

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

SUMMER INCUBATOR

Do you need to jump-start a digital project? The IDAH Summer Incubator brings all of the resources IU has to offer for faculty and graduate students engaged in DAH projects into a single room for a week-long intensive workshop in July. We'll help you identify digital tools, estimate project costs, prototype a project component, and prepare effective grant proposals.

FACULTY FELLOWSHIPS

Are you working on a project with a significant digital component in pursuit of tenure or promotion? Our Faculty Fellowship is designed to promote cross-disciplinary projects through dedicated consultation for digital project development and flexible support for faculty seeking promotion on the basis of a DAH portfolio.

HASTAC SCHOLARSHIPS

Are you an undergraduate or graduate student working on a digitally-inflected project? The HASTAC Scholars fellowship program is a student-driven community of graduate and undergraduate students who are working at the intersection of technology and the arts, humanities and sciences.
